CH Kalnovitch Nova Katya - simply a showdog extraordinaire.

Our first homebred Champion, Sasha was an exceptional Samoyed, a gorgeous representative of our beautiful breed. She was a challenge to show when in a bad mood, but her competitive nature saw her win multiple Best and Reserve of Groups, countless group awards and many in show awards. Actually, she won her first challenge from the Puppy class, going on to win Best of Group and Puppy in Show! Sasha was also a Best in Show winner at Open Show level, again from the puppy class.

Her class and gorgeousness was recognised by many a breed specialist and we were extremely proud to breed and exhibit her. Sasha was the perfect show girl, excelling in movement, structure and soundness.

Unfortunately what Sasha excelled in showwise, she lacked breedingwise and we were unable to get her in whelp.

In 2001, Sasha attended her last show. Once retired, she spent her days with her family of angels - the Penno family whom Sasha lived with and absolutely adored. They took such exceptional care of her over her years, for which we are truly thankful.

In January of 2003 we all said goodbye to Sasha, a truly remarkable Samoyed, lost way before her time.
