Kalnovitch Samoyeds is a partnership between Glenda (Mother) and Michelle (Daughter).  Based in the beautiful city of Dunedin, New Zealand, Samoyeds have been part of our family for just over 17 years. 

Known as the "Smiling Dog", there is little that is more exquisite than sharing your life with the intelligent Samoyed.  They are delightful, affectionate, loyal and dependable.  Life is never dull when a Samoyed is around!

Through showing this beautiful breed, we have connected with some amazing people.  We have been fortunate to draw on the expertise and experience of these like-minded people, all who are truly dedicated to the improvement and future of our beautiful breed.  We thank you for being there in our times of happiness, sorrow and frustration when things just haven't turned out right.

We are not prolific breeders, or prolific exhibitors for that matter.  We breed selectively with a view to improving the Samoyed breed in New Zealand, and improving the type, quality and overall excellence we wish for Kalnovitch Samoyeds to represent.  The New Zealand Samoyed Breed Standard is our breeding blueprint and provides the basis for our breeding philosophy:
