4 March 2009...
An update at last! We have
nothing new to report except that we are STILL waiting for Nessie to come
into season (thank you for your patience). We have added a Galah to
the menagerie, (making the trek down to Invercargill to collect her the
day I arrived back from my Australian holiday). Her name is Bad
Jelly and she is just gorgeous. She loves all things shiny, is way
noisier than the cockatoos, and very attached to me. Her vocabulary
is very impressive and she learns very quickly. Cinnamon doesn't
think much of her (but likes to raid her cage for food). Wizard is
starting to mature and has kept his clothes on... I can finally show him!
He has picked up a challenge this year, but alas I can't update with any
photos as my camera is dead and is in the process of being replaced. I am
planning to get the "old boy" Cody out this year, he appears to be growing
up a little bit, and miraculously, he is doing a fabulous job at keeping a
coat. Will update more soon with pictures, x Michelle
