Lovely Nessie, our pick from the wicked litter.  Handled mainly by Mum, Nessie oozes style, she has that same "look at me" attitude that Kaitlyn possesses and she is a super strong mover.  Nessie can be a pain to handle as she is easily distracted sometimes - a bit like her father!  Nonetheless, when she decides to show, she puts her best foot forward and shows like a gem.  Plenty of judges have commented on Nessie's ring presence.

For various reasons, Nessie has not been shown as consistently or as much as we would like, but she has done very well for herself regardless, winning up to Reserve of Group level.  Nessie is also a Reserve Challenge winner at the New Zealand National (from the Junior class) - qualifying her for Crufts!  The last time Nessie was shown, she won a strong Intermediate bitch class at the 2007 Dominion Samoyed Club Specialty.

Nessie has a fabulous temperament.  From the moment she was up on her feet, she was ruling the roost and getting into mischief.  She has her owner Fay wrapped around her paws and loves digging and getting into trouble!

When Chase (Aust CH Snerzok Strike Chaser) came to stay on his way to the UK, it was obvious that he would make an ideal sire for a litter from Nessie.  Although we had wanted for Nessie to have her first litter "a la naturale" before using Chase's semen, unfortunately it just was not to be and Nessie was sent for an AI, from Chase.  It was one very anxious wait as Nessie was not obvious about being pregnant until quite late into her pregnancy.  Her scan revealed one puppy, although we were hopeful there would be more.  There wasn't!  The result from this litter was my dear Valentina - Kalnovitch Cut To The Chase (name applied for).  Nessie's type and quality is obvious in Valentina, with V carrying the same proudly arched neck and the beautiful strong rear movement.  We are going to repeat this mating, later this year (2008).

We have enjoyed campaigning Nessie, and we would like to thank her mother Fay who absolutely adores her.
