Christmas Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone..

November 2005 -
Canterbury Show Weekend
What a FAB weekend....Cody goes
Reserve Best in Show at the Dominion Samoyed Club Specialty - judge Debbie
Parker - my beautiful wee boy just LOVED being out in the ring again...I
have missed him terribly as this was only the third show weekend Cody has
been to :o( Chase enjoyed his debut weekend...Teddy and Nessie played
a little rough and dear Teddy hurt himself....Nessie had many a temper
tantrums as she was shortly to come in to season....it was all on!!
Photos below are courtesy of Julia Roberts, Snezhinka Samoyeds...thanks
Julia!

Cody - RBISS also IOG at one
of the All Breeds Shows over the weekend
Critique:: This lovely correct
sized, balanced dog with a good length of leg, carries a very expressive
head, would like a slightly smaller ear. Neck flowed in to a good lay of
shoulder, with good reach, drive and muscle tone. Has
correct feet with strength in front pastern. Correct tail set and length.
This boy doesn't carry a big coat but it is correct with good texture. Just
lacked the ring presence of Challenge Bitch for Best In Show.
Nessie, 2nd place Junior
bitch
Critique:: This is another nice
bitch with good proportions, Good head but lacked a bit of sparkle.
Angulation correct and the preferred distance between hocks. Moved well but
didn't cover the ground of the first placewinner.

Chase - 2nd place Open Dog
Here is my dear friend Julia
Roberts (Snezhinka Samoyeds)

October 2005 -
Chase is here........
Beautiful Chase aka Aust CH
Snerzok Strike Chaser arrived home. He is to be campaigned in New
Zealand by me, for his owners John & Dawn Wilders of Snerzok Samoyeds Australia.
He is a wonderful dog to have as part of the family, he is so quiet and
obedient and unlike others he does NOT take life at 5 million miles an hour! We look
forward to exhibiting Chase for John & Dawn....unfortunately he came over a
little naked but he is getting there! Two things about "Chasearoozooooo"
- he absolutely LOVES his toys, and even more so he is particularly
enamoured with his little kitty cat "Betsy"...pictures to follow!

September 2005 -
NZ National Dog Show
We took Teddy and Ness up to
Christchurch for the National Dog Show...what an awesome weekend - Ness
comes home with a reserve challenge & junior of breed (23 Samoyeds
exhibited, 8 of which were juniors)...Teddy comes home
with a first placing in his class wohooo! Both have now qualified for
the 2006 Crufts! Below is Nessie..

June 2005 -
Supreme Puppy of the Year
Contest
Teddy and Liv competed in the
Puppy of the Year Contest....both knocked out in the first round, with Teddy
being beaten by the eventual Puppy (and runner up adult) winner...however
Teddy did go on to win Supreme Puppy Visitor..
May 2005 - Leeston
Glenda takes Ted & Ness away for
a colllld weekend in Leeston, just out of Christchurch (about 4.5hoursish
from home). Saturday sees Ted win his class and through to the
Puppy Stakes finals, Sunday sees Ted take out Best of Breed and another
challenge certificate under his belt. No group awards for Ted or Ness
=o[ LOL
May 2005
Just doing an update for the
Supreme Puppy Awards - we did a quick count up and here is the summary for
Teddy's wins to date:
18 shows to date for - 6 BPOG, 3 BPIS; 7 POG, 3 PIS
Not a bad record Ted!!!
9 & 10 April 2005 - Geraldine
KA
Ness and Kaitlyn went to the
Geraldine shows, about half an hour out of Timaru. Dear wee Kaitlyn
went third out of three BOTH DAYS!! But she is naked so we were not
concerned.....her beautiful daughter Nessie, however, proved the Kalnovitch
team are certainly a force to be reckoned with, by taking out her first CCs
and two BOB awards...yep..a FAB weekend for the Kalnovitch team once
again!!!
We have
nothing now until Ted goes up to Christchurch for the Pal Supreme Puppy
awards, for which he has qualified three times....however Ted is starting to
lose his puppy fluff so we may not be bringing him...we will be there though
to cheer on gorgeous Liv who has also qualified!!
3 April 2005 - Selwyn Dist
.....Dear Kaitlyn takes out Best
of Breed once again, with a Reserve of Group award to boot....Poor Nessie
almost, nearly, took out Challenge over Kaitlyn but went Reserve, as well as
Reserve Best of Breed!! ...Ness utterly thrilled her owners by taking out
Puppy of Group.....Ted goes RCC... certainly not a bad weekend for the
Kalnovitch Team!!
2 April 2005 - Selwyn Dist
We ventured up to Christchurch
for the first time since November and what a weekend!!! Kaitlyn takes
out Best of Breed and goes on to solidify her mark of consistency with
another Best of Group award.....Kaitlyn just loves being out in the
limelight once again and is having a blast in the showring. Her son,
Teddy, pushed her for the breed, taking out another Challenge and Reserve
Best of Breed; also Puppy of Group. Dear Ness performed like a trooper
for a first in her class of four, with Liv going second....well done team!!!
